BRENTWOOD, TN., - Crye-Leike, REALTORS is proud to announce the company's Brentwood West branch office will sponsor its seventh annual blood drive on Thursday July 23, 2009 from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

Agents are encouraging the community to donate blood and join their efforts in supporting the American Red Cross.

"Our goal is to have at least 80 donors because 800 pints of blood are needed each day in the Greater Nashville area," said Crye-Leike Broker Jim Heidenway. "Each pint of blood donated can save as many as three lives and also goes to help the Red Cross maintain a ready supply of blood for emergencies."

The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be parked outside of Crye-Leike's Brentwood West sales office - located at 5111 Maryland Way - with a full nursing staff standing by to take good care of all the donors. Officials with Crye-Leike, REALTORS have launched "Red Fridays" by wearing red and specially made buttons which they will be selling to raise money for Operation Homefront.

 

Operation Homefront is a nonprofit group that assists troops and their families.

 

Proceeds from the fundraising will go to Operation Homefront's Village program, which provides a community where wounded service members and their families can live while the soldiers recover and protects them from losing their houses to foreclosure.

 

The buttons are $3 each and can be purchased from any Crye-Leike office or agent.
