BRENTWOOD, TN - Crye-Leike, Realtors Affiliate Broker Amber Carlson feels a bit like a survivor after successfully completing the Chicago Marathon Sunday October 7, 2007.

 

Carlson's journey started ten months prior, when she registered and began training for her first full marathon run.

 

"With a few triathlons and many 10K's and a couple half marathons under my belt, I felt I had no more excuses," said Carlson. "I wanted to complete a full marathon before I turned 30. It scared me, but I had to go all the way."

 

Carlson's training partner is her sister in law Angela Thurmond (pictured). Together they worked up to Carlson's first full marathon with 5am runs several times a week, when Carlson admits "It's the one time of the day I don't feel guilty about not having my cell phone with me."

BRENTWOOD, TN - Playing off the theme from the nursery rhyme "The Three Little Pigs," the Crye-Leike, Realtors from Spring Hill seemed to capture the hearts and minds of children young and old alike at the 4th Annual Country Ham Festival.

 

"We had such a great time coming up with and creating our kids zone booth, I don't know who had more fun, us or the kids," said Kristin Pendergraft, the Managing Broker at the Crye-Leike, Realtors Spring Hill office.  "The smiles and laughter that day will stay with us for a long time."

MEMPHIS, TN - Jan Harbor, Director of Relocation, of Crye-Leike Realtors? was a speaker at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World? regional meeting in Charlotte, N.C. Sept. 25-26.  The meeting attracted brokers, managers and relocation professionals from across the region and country, who gathered for timely educational workshops, brainstorming sessions and networking opportunities.

 

Her session addressed Business Development, a topic of great interest in the real estate community. As a respected expert in this area, Jan Harbor shared insights to help educate fellow Leading Real Estate Companies of the World? members.
