12th Annual Crye-Leike Golf Tournament to Benefit Wings Cancer Foundation
MEMPHIS, TN.- There is still time to register for the 12th Annual Sherry Park Memorial Golf Tournament, to be held on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at the Memphis National Golf Club in Collierville, TN. This annual event benefits the Wings Cancer Foundation at West Clinic in Memphis, TN, and is organized by Crye-Leike, Realtors Germantown - Poplar branch office.
The tournament is named in memory of former Crye-Leike Managing Broker Sherry Park, who led the Germantown - Poplar sales team for nine years since its establishment in 1986. When Sherry was diagnosed with cancer, she was instrumental in organizing the first tournament, in 1994, to benefit cancer research. Upon her death in 1995, Crye-Leike's Germantown - Poplar branch chose to continue the tournament in her memory with proceeds benefiting the Wings Cancer Foundation. To date, this dedicated branch office has raised over $127,000 for cancer research.

Realtor Safety Week September 10-16, 2006
MEMPHIS, TN.- Real estate agents face more on the job risks than many other business professionals due to their frequent contact with unfamiliar people in private locations, says the National Association of Realtors (NAR). To raise awareness about this vital issue, NAR has declared September 10-16, 2006 as the fourth annual Realtor Safety Week. Crye-Leike, Realtors, along with other real estate offices and Realtor associations across the country, will be holding safety presentations for their sales associates and members during this designated week and throughout the year.
