Nashville, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's largest real estate firm, Crye-Leike, Realtors, has opened its first specialty branch office, Crye-Leike Country.
As a prototype real estate boutique office, Crye-Leike Country will focus its marketing efforts on listing and selling high-end real estate properties in rural suburbia, a new niche market for Crye-Leike, says Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.
Crye-Leike Country's first office location is in Leiper's Fork, located at 4216 Old Hillsboro Road, eight miles south of Franklin.
Crye selected a 1800s Colonial house with 2,000 sq. ft. in downtown Leiper's Fork as Crye-Leike's office location for Crye-Leike Country. He purchased the house from its last owner, Laura Hill. The house required major renovations, but Crye refurbished it to retain the character and charm of the house and the community, he says.

Little Rock, Ark - Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation's 10th largest real estate company, is expanding its branch office operations northward into Cabot, Arkansas to meet the exploding neighborhood growth in Lonoke County, reports Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.
Crye-Leike's Cabot branch office opened for business on May 2, 2005 in temporary leased office space, located at 200 Westport Drive, Suite A., one-half mile north of Highway 167 and near Wal-Mart and the Community Bank building. Crye-Leike is leasing office space in Westport Plaza from PTM, LLC, a property management company owned by Joe Park of Cabot.
Cabot marks Crye-Leike's 10th branch office to open in Central Arkansas, with a total of 14 branch and franchise offices in the state of Arkansas. Before its Cabot addition, Crye-Leike's most northeastern office in Central Arkansas was located in North Little Rock.

First quarter sales of this year for its Middle Tennessee Region were $276.3 million, representing 1,668 in units sold and up 10.2 percent from $251.5 million in the same quarter a year prior.
Local sales volume in March of this year was $114.6 million, up 7.3 percent from last March, representing 693 closings.
Sales reported by Crye-Leike of Nashville, Inc. includes sales in eight counties surrounding the Greater Nashville metropolitan area.

Crye-Leike, Inc. reports first quarter sales of this year for its West Tennessee Region at $418 million, representing 2,531 units sold, up 5 percent from $399.8 million, in the same quarter a year prior.
Local sales volume in March of this year was $174.3 million, up 4 percent from last March. These figures represent 1,099 closings, a 2.2 percent increase from the same period last year.

Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Jerry Obermark, after over 30 years of reporting Memphis' real estate news for The Commercial Appeal, has joined Crye-Leike as an affiliate broker. Obermark took early retirement from the news business and is now affiliated with Crye-Leike's East Memphis branch office, located at 585 South Perkins.
"I wanted to share in the excitement when families are pleased with their homes," says the Midtown resident. Obermark chose to join Crye-Leike specifically from the respect for Crye-Leike he gained from personal experience.
